Carabeen bulls are classic Bazadais – exceptional muscle and length, track well and move freely. They are bred to work being pasture raised with part-supplementation during the Winter months.
Bazadais bulls are exceptional terminal sires over Tropical and British breed herds. Hybrid vigour and Bazadais carcase traits dramatically increase lean saleable meat yield (73+%) making Bazadais sires ideal for weaner and yearling production and “paddock to plate” businesses.
Bull fertility and docility are paramount. All of our bulls are vaccinated and we are happy to provide a current Veterinary Bull Breeding Soundness Evaluation on request. The bulls are quiet, have been trained to lead and are sold with our stud’s docility warranty.
The Bazadais breed is blessed with a large variation in frame score, muscling and softness. Our genetic testing and EBVs identify the sire best suited to your needs. All of our bulls are registered, backed by DNA and parent verification, so you can have confidence our bulls will pass on their Bazadais carcase traits.

Carabeen Bazadais is proud of the quality of our cattle and we endeavour to make rapid and significant genetic improvements. All of our cattle are performance recorded and genetically superior animals are identified using the latest genetic techniques for with-in breed and across-breeds (worldwide) comparisons. Genetic testing is also performed on all of our imported semen to identify sires of superior genetic merit.
Recently, we have begun an in-herd EBV program, and look forward to marrying these results with our genetic data. We believe EBVs and genetic testing are the keys to breed improvement with direct benefit to commercial buyers. Genetic testing shows Bengal has superior genetic merit for feed efficiency, growth rate, EMA and rib fat in a comparison across all breeds, worldwide. His exceptional calving ease identifies him as an essential sire for all Bazadais herds.
